Update of Covid-19 measures for passenger and road transport in Republic of Slovenia
We would like to inform you that the Government issued the Ordinance determining
the conditions of entry into the Republic of Slovenia to contain and control the
COVID-19 communicable disease and published it in the Official Gazette of the
Republic of Slovenia. With the new ordinance, valid from August 16th, 2021 workers
in international transport entering the Republic of Slovenia must leave the teritory of
the Republic of Slovenia within 12 hours of crossing the border (without compliance
with the vaccinated-tested (PCR 72h, HAG 48h recovered rule) . The person
referred to must present a "Certificate for Workers in the International Transport"
from Annex 3 of the Communication from the Commission on the implementation of
the Green Lanes under the Guidelines for border management measures to protect
health and ensure the availability of goods and essential services (OJ C No. 96I of
24 March 2021, p.1), or another appropriate document from which shows that these
persons were posted by their employer. If this above mentioned requerment of 12
hours is not met and the person is without compliance with the vaccinated-tested
(PCR 72h, HAG 48h) recovered rule a home quarantine will be ordered.
A person claiming the exception must provide the police with evidence of the
existence of the exceptions, otherwise they will be ordered to quarantine at home.
Foreigners who are not a residents of Slovenia will only be allowed to enter by being
ordered into a 10-day quarantine at home if they can prove beyond any doubt that
